Ernest is a great friend of the Billy Bears, and he is a traditionally jointed teddy bear made in a soft grey plush faux fur. He has safety eyes and nose pink paw and foot pads. He has a serious and thoughtful character, and is wearing a hand knitted stripey sleeveless jumper.

Ernest loves the theatre and often accompanies Alicia to performances in the 'Great Birch Tree' open air theatre in the Windsor Great Park. His favorite plays are 'The Merry Bears of Windsor', 'Two Bears of Virginia Water' and 'Much Ado about Acorns'.
